Cub Scouting recognizes that there are four essential aims:

  • Character Development

  • Citizenship

  • Personal Fitness

  • Leadership

We achieve these aims through proven, effective methods:

  • Living the ideals of the Scout Law, Scout Oath, and Scout Motto

  • Belonging to a Den (small group of similarly-aged children where we learn new skills, develop interests and practice sportsmanship and good citizenship)

  • Advancement (working on personal achievement and self-esteem while having fun)

  • Involving family and home for leadership and support

  • Participating in Activities such as games, projects, skits, outdoor events, community service, trips…

  • Serving home and neighborhood to strengthen connections

  • Wearing the uniform to demonstrate membership, show achievement, and foster a sense of belonging and equality
